The Good Guys Foundation was created by Juanita Copeland and Sgt. Henry Particelli in July 2019 after Juanita heard Sgt. Particelli perform his anthem "We Are The Good Guys" at Officer John Anderson's funeral in Nashville, TN. She was immediately inspired to contact Sgt. Particelli about recording the song to be released to initially benefit Officer Anderson's family (he left behind an 18 month old son), but it became much larger than that.

Juanita runs Nashville's most legendary recording studio, The Sound Emporium, so she contacted the Metro Nashville Police Department and they put her in touch with Sgt. Particelli, choosing July 17th as the day to record. Juanita donated the studio time, and her Chief Engineer, Mike Stankiewicz, donated his time to engineer, produce and mix the song (with Skyler Chuckry assisting). The session musicians Matt King (drums), John Thomasson (bass), Paul Allen (Guitars) donated their time, as well.

Several Nashville tv stations came out to film this amazing recording session, as well as the Tennessean newspaper. A few days later Sgt. Particelli did the vocals and then added a bagpipe and a chorus of a dozen of Metro Nashville's Police Dept’s. finest singing the outro chorus of "WE ARE THE GOOD GUYS" - (pictured below are those Officers).

The song is available for download now and all proceeds will benefit the families of fallen police officers. The Foundation wants to make this a MOVEMENT and change the conversation about how law enforcement officers are viewed in their communities. We truly believe this is possible with our positive message and our positive outreach. There are way more GOOD GUYS than bad, and we want to uplift them and support their families when they give the ultimate sacrifice of their lives.
